Project Summary

Having an outdoor space to entertain family and friends on a grand scale was high on this homeowner’s list and they knew their pool would be the focal point of their backyard oasis. But that was just the beginning.

Now, the family and their guests can walk out onto a covered and heated patio where there’s plenty of seating for conversation or watching the big game on a flat screen TV. The kitchen door exits to a gorgeous pergola, surrounded by column piers featuring Shawnee Flagstone Irregular cut limestone that is also used on the outdoor gas -burning fire pit. Beneath the pergola is a culinary lover’s dream featuring a full kitchen with ample seating that includes a serving counter bar with a granite countertop, an outdoor grill station, refrigerator, sink and kegerator,

An inlaid stone path leads from the patio to the fire pit and then to the pool where guests can enter via the zero entry area. A raised gunite spa to the left with a waterfall into the pool offers year-round use. The back of the pool features a weathered sandstone boulder waterfall along with an InterFab BYOS-2 slide. Behind that wall, there’s an outdoor shower. To the right of the waterfall there are four ‘In-Pool’ serving stools featuring Brentwood Polished Arkansas Sandstone Seats where swimmers can enjoy a snack or a drink.

Nighttime is the right time for viewing and enjoying this pool as two, LED color-changing laminar jets, along with LED color changing lights on the sheer descent waterfall and raised spa wall along with Sandy Beach Pebble Tec with Glo Beads provide visual highlights.

There’s another pergola near the pool that leads to the in-ground trampoline and beyond that, the tennis court with its combined half-court basketball setup is a place where guests can work up a sweat before cooling off in the pool.

Put it all together and the homeowners have an outdoor area that offers year-round entertainment options, all done in perfect sync and perfect style.
