Breathtakingly Infinite

Project Summary

Some homes come with fabulous views as part of the purchase price. But sometimes, those fabulous views result in some less than fabulous backyards with steep inclines, set on rocky ground. Such was the case when these homeowners called on Liquid Assets Pools to help make the most of their house on a hill that overlooked a golf course and provided a great view well beyond the course.

Liquid Assets made the most of the overlook by presenting an infinity pool plan that included stone tile decking, a built-in firepit and a covered outdoor kitchen so that the pool area as well as the view could be enjoyed year round, taking in the splendor that all four seasons bring to the St. Louis area.

During construction, heavy rocks had to be broken up and removed as the base for the pool was established. A large, rock wall was bulit along the pool’s exterior and serves as the backdrop for a width-of-the-pool waterfall descending from the pool’s infinity edge featuring dramatic lighting that can be seen from below.

The pool deck features gorgeous Turkish Marble stonework that is also echoed in the stone fire pit. The outdoor kitchen has an outdoor grill along with a serving countertop with bar stools. Dramatic lighting highlights the infinity pool design as the edge seemingly drops off to the horizon line, creating a dramatic, year round look for this gorgeous pool setting.
