Project Summary
Liquid Assets Pools is always touting its ability to build a true backyard oasis. But it’s rare when a potential customer calls us and asks us to do exactly that – create and build a backyard oasis.
That’s the request we received from one of our recent customers who spent about six-to-seven years talking about it amongst themselves. When the couple’s children reached grade school age, they decided to plunge in.
Their new outdoor oasis has many great features but a real showstopper, particularly at night, are the two pillars topped off with fire bowls that act as fountains and also shoot flames into the nighttime air. Equally high on that list is the round fire pit that is great for gathering round on cool nights in the fall.
Liquid Assets also oversaw the installation of a hut tub, featuring a retractable cover that can be easily pulled back to sit on a shelf without interfering with the view. Special attention was also paid to the stonework, making sure it blended in with the overall stone masonry separating the fire pit level with the pool.
Part of the overall plan also included a covered kitchen area with a stove, refrigerator and bar-b-que pit along with a flat-screen TV that can be viewed from the pool. There are also space heaters for when there’s a chill in the night air.
