Wondrous Wall of Water

Project Summary

Not every homeowner has the luxury of having a large backyard. In this residential neighborhood, homes are closely bunched together and the idea of a pool isn’t the first thing that always comes to mind – except for these pool-loving homeowners who turned to Liquid Assets to develop a way to maximize space in a tightly congested area while still leaving a bit of green space as well.

The solution was to build the pool into a rectangular area immediately off of the back porch of the home that was turned into an outdoor eating/entertaining area. To maximize space, a large scupper wall featuring a cascading water fountain creates a dramatic backdrop at one end of the pool. On the other end, a tanning shelf was built in with easy, walk-in access.

Limestone decking surrounds the pool, including the stairs down to the pool area while the scupper wall is made of slate tiles that also make up the pools coping. The soothing sounds of the three sheer descents helps turn the pool area into the homeowner’s own little backyard oasis.
